As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to provide a reassuring presence, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting visitors and staff in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies at the location.
