Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to buildings, rooms, and/or restricted areas at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Verify credentials and identification of personnel, visitors, and vendors entering the premises.
Provide customer service by answering inquiries and assisting individuals with directions or information as needed.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and coordinate with appropriate personnel or emergency responders when necessary.
Document and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for irregularities.
Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as required in support of security-related activities.
