The SOS position is comprised of shift work (off hours to include weekends and holidays) and is responsible for general security operations at the local data center to include physical security applications and systems and devices; conducts day-to-day activities involving access control administration, including access badge processing of employee, contractor, visitor control; conducts inspections and inventories audits security devices and assets; daily visitor log maintenance; managing assigned tickets; reporting security device faults; reporting of security incidents; and the escalation of critical events: activate remote access, independently make security related decisions; assist security operations in emergency situations and backfill duties of other SOS when needed temporarily to meet coverage requirements. Supervisory Responsibilities SOS position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.
