Job Description As a Security Officer - Utilities Command Center in Carmel, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, support security-related operations, and maintain clear communication to help to deter incidents. Your presence and teamwork will contribute to a secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch post, maintaining accurate records of all calls and activity.
Coordinate responses to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site-specific protocols.
Dispatch security-related personnel to designated locations within the utilities facility as needed.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Assist in maintaining situational awareness of the utilities location by monitoring surveillance systems and/or alarm panels.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, clients, and emergency responders during routine operations and/or emergencies.
Support Allied Universal team members by relaying important information and updates in a timely manner.
