As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, report concerns clearly, and deliver strong customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • A guard card/license is preferred, but not required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
  • Monitor access control points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and drivers; direct foot traffic and vehicle traffic per site procedures.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
  • Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity in written and/or electronic reports; communicate status updates to supervision and site representatives.
