About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in San Ramon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity while working as part of an agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first team.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related policies at a utilities location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
- Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with evacuations or restricted access protocols, and coordinating with onsite personnel and/or first responders when appropriate.
