As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the first friendly point of contact, welcoming staff and visitors, managing access control, checking credentials, and directing guests with clear communication. You will monitor the lobby area, respond to security-related concerns, and document activity with attention to detail. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and access control protocols for a healthcare location.
  • Greet, screen, and direct patients, visitors, vendors, and staff; issue visitor passes and/or manage sign-in requirements per site policy.
  • Monitor lobby activity, phones, intercoms, and surveillance systems as assigned; document and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with onsite staff, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
  • Maintain accurate written and/or electronic logs of arrivals, departures, deliveries, keys, and other front desk transactions, and complete required reports in a timely manner.
