Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, yards, and perimeter routes as assigned.
Perform access control activities such as checking identification, managing visitor sign-in, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas according to site procedures.
Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other security-related systems when assigned, and report irregular conditions for follow-up.
Complete routine inspections of doors, gates, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Document observations, incidents, and service requests in daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate updates during shift handoff.
Support site operations by assisting with traffic control, truck entry and exit flow, and pedestrian routing during peak shipping and receiving periods as directed.
Follow post orders for emergency and incident response, including fire panel alerts, medical calls, and evacuation support when directed.
Maintain a professional presence, follow all Allied Universal and location policies, and report maintenance hazards and/or damaged property observed during patrols.
