Security Officer - Top Secret SCI Clearance required
About The Position
Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed). At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field. Hourly pay $45.00 Must have an active Top Secret SCI Clearance Must have at least 1 year of Security Experience Full Time: Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Full Time: Monday to Friday 2:00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. Full Time: Monday to Friday 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Part Time: Saturday and Sunday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Part Time: Saturday and Sunday 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Must possess one or more of the following:
- Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
- Prior military experience
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Must have an active Top Secret SCI Clearance
- Must have at least 1 year of Security Experience
Nice To Haves
- Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
- Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
- Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
- Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
- Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
- Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
- Act as a first responder in emergency situations
