As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet and assist employees and visitors, respond to concerns, and document activity with clear communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and/or requests for assistance per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
  • Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
  • Use Allied Universal reporting tools to document patrol activities, observations, and incident details, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
