As a Screener at a high-energy tech, media, and telecom location, you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and deliveries, conduct routine patrols, and document security-related activity using site systems. You will stay visible, provide clear directions and customer service, and communicate concerns to the team. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and/or telecom location.
• Conduct screening of people, packages, and deliveries using approved methods and equipment as required, and document findings per site policy.
• Monitor entry points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization, and assist with maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, work areas, and perimeter, and report maintenance concerns and/or unusual activity per post orders.
