As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, labs, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify identification and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
Control visitor entry by issuing visitor credentials, confirming appointments, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
Monitor alarm panels, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and report irregular conditions promptly.
Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas, reporting unsecured openings, damaged hardware, and/or unusual conditions.
Assist with employee, contractor, and vendor check-in procedures and provide directions and customer service support.
Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic reporting systems.
Support emergency and business continuity procedures such as evacuations, shelter-in-place, and medical response by coordinating notifications and guiding people as directed.
Communicate professionally with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and local responders when needed.
Follow post orders and perform additional security-related duties as assigned, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
