About The Position

Allied Universal® is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Telecom Facility in Boston MA Monday, Friday 11 PM - 7 AM + Saturday, Sunday 7 PM - 7 AM Starting Pay is $22.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available As a Security Officer - in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated shelter locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with those you encounter. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for shelter environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shelter location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entry and exit points, observing for unusual behavior and/or unauthorized access within the shelter facility.
Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or any unusual observations to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with shelter staff and local authorities as needed to support a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants.
Remain alert and attentive during assigned shifts, adapting to changing conditions and requirements specific to the shelter location.
