Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at an automotive location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in, and maintain clear logs and reports. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to questions with professional customer service and strong communication. Requirements

  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees at an automotive location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Control access at entry points by verifying identification and visit purpose, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and maintaining access logs in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems; report irregular activity and document observations per Allied Universal and site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate shift activity during post handoff, and follow escalation procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions.
