Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service, clear communication, and prompt reporting of concerns. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, building floors, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or hazard concerns for reporting.
- Monitor access points and lobby activity as assigned, assist with visitor direction and/or credential checks, and document unusual conditions according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance from onsite contacts and/or local responders when needed.
- Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and patrol findings, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover to support consistent security-related coverage.
