Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations while supporting site procedures. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or local emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and interior areas, assist with visitor management and/or badge verification, and report access control concerns per site policy.
  • Complete detailed activity and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or client contacts, and support privacy and confidentiality expectations common to healthcare locations.
