As a Front Desk Officer at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for patients, families, and staff, supporting a welcoming environment while assisting with security-related access control. You will greet and direct visitors, manage check-in procedures, monitor lobby activity, and document and/or report concerns. Requirements

  • Have 6+ months of Security Experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff at the front desk while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at the main reception area by greeting and screening visitors, issuing visitor badges and/or passes, maintaining sign-in logs, and directing guests according to facility protocols.
  • Monitor the front lobby and entrance area through observation and available systems, report unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to clinical staff, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as required by post orders.
  • Document security-related incidents, visitor activity, and service requests in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate shift updates during handoff.
