As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors with strong customer service, communicate clearly, and help respond to alarms and access control activity as needed. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts, supporting medical staff during disruptive events, and contacting emergency services when needed.
Control access by monitoring entrances, checking identification and/or visitor authorization, maintaining visitor logs as required, and directing individuals to appropriate departments.
Complete required documentation such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and patrol observations, and promptly communicate noteworthy issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
