Job Description As a Security Officer in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet guests, assist tenants and shoppers, and communicate clearly when reporting concerns. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, tenants, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and mall location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, retail corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, and/or property damage, and requesting additional resources when needed.
- Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report findings promptly to site leadership and/or local responders as appropriate.
- Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, document patrol results, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
