Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to customer and associate questions with clear communication and a service-first mindset. Requirements
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, assisting with lost children, and/or coordinating with store management and local responders as needed.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; observe for suspicious behavior; and communicate security-related concerns promptly to the appropriate contacts.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic systems, and participate in required briefings and training.
