As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a renowned cultural institution, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure setting, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as required.
Support crowd management and orderly conduct of guests during events or busy periods within the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal team members while carrying out assigned duties.
