Job Description As a Security Officer - Cultural Institution Patrols Full-Time in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned cultural institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and maintaining a visible presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific protocols.
