About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Museum in Boston MA Saturday, Sunday 7 AM - 3 PM, Monday, Tuesday 11 PM - 7 AM and Thursday 3 PM - 11 PM Starting Pay is $21.50 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available As a Security Officer - in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a renowned cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual situations.
Monitor the premises for potential security-related issues and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and managing visitor flow as needed for the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, guests, and/or vendors while representing Allied Universal.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or actions taken during shifts according to company and client procedures.
