Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Hospital in Boston MA Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM Starting Pay is $21.23 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available Candidate is Required to Have 2+ Years of Previous Security Experience and Must be 21+ Years Old As a Security Officer - in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information as needed.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification when required, and reporting unauthorized individuals.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs specific to the location.
