Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Hospital in Boston MA Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM Starting Pay is $21.23 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available Candidate is Required to Have 2+ Years of Previous Security Experience and Must be 21+ Years Old As a Security Officer - in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations within the healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, clients, and other personnel as needed.
Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities according to site protocols.
Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a welcoming presence.
Support emergency response activities and cooperate with first responders and/or medical personnel as required.
