As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated hospital areas to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence and professionalism will support access control and provide assistance as needed, all while exemplifying our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Applicants must have received required vaccines as mandated by the hospital client.
Applicants may be required to work in or around hospital morgue areas.
Applicants may be required to restrain individuals as part of their security-related duties at the hospital.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
Document and report incidents or occurrences according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of facility policies as directed by site leadership.
