As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a chemical and petrochemical location. You will interact with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to situations with professionalism. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the chemical and petrochemical location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
  • Monitor for any security-related concerns and report observations according to established protocols.
  • Work in a dynamic environment where conditions may vary depending on the needs of the location.
