Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Financial Company in Boston MA Monday - Friday 11 PM - 7 AM Starting Pay is $22.66 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / Opportunity For Advancement Candidate is Required to Have 2+ Years of Previous Security/Law Enforcement Experience As a Security Officer - in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, assist with access control, and respond to security-related incidents. Your strong communication skills and customer service mindset will help to deter incidents while providing support to staff and visitors. Requirements

  • A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dispatch systems to monitor and communicate with personnel throughout the location, maintaining awareness of all security-related activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel and external emergency responders as needed to support security-related operations at the financial institution.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, calls, and communications accurately and promptly.
  • Assist in implementing site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors or employees in accordance with security-related procedures.
  • Support patrol teams by relaying information and facilitating communication between different areas of the location.
