You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access by verifying identification, logging visitors, issuing temporary badges as directed, and directing traffic to approved parking and delivery areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, supporting evacuations, and completing required documentation.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other access control systems when assigned, and promptly report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations through the proper chain of command.
