As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-visibility aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay present to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, respond to calls for service, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access through designated entry points by checking identification, monitoring authorized access lists as directed, and directing visitors to the proper check-in process.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and access control records, and communicate key information during shift turnovers.
