As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering standout customer service. You will help to deter unwanted activity by observing, reporting, and communicating clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, assisting with visitor management, delivery coordination, and badge and/or credential checks per site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, communication with site contacts, and requesting public emergency services when needed.
Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders using approved tools and procedures.
