As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with both staff and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards within the chemical and petrochemical environment, reporting findings promptly to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities when necessary, assisting with evacuations and/or coordinating with first responders as directed.
Document and communicate all security-related incidents, observations, and interactions according to site requirements and Allied Universal standards.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to personnel and visitors at the location.
