As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with both staff and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards within the chemical and petrochemical environment, reporting findings promptly to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities when necessary, assisting with evacuations and/or coordinating with first responders as directed.
  • Document and communicate all security-related incidents, observations, and interactions according to site requirements and Allied Universal standards.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to personnel and visitors at the location.
