As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned chemical and petrochemical locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a secure environment for all personnel. Your presence and attention to detail will support ongoing operations, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will help create a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, including areas where chemical and petrochemical processes are present.
Observe for unusual activity or conditions and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points.
Document observations, incidents, and activities during patrols in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Collaborate with site staff and emergency responders when necessary to support security-related operations.
