As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Assist in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical location, including both interior and exterior areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and following established protocols.
Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or suspicious behavior within the location to help to deter unwanted incidents.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures relevant to the chemical and petrochemical environment, including handling of restricted areas and access control.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, assisting with evacuations and/or other site-specific emergency protocols as directed.
