As a Patrol Officer at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
Monitor for any unusual activity or potential risks, especially those unique to chemical and petrochemical environments, and report findings according to site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as outlined by location protocols.
