As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will engage with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, which may include chemical and petrochemical areas.
Observe for any unusual activity or conditions that may require intervention and report findings according to site protocols.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members during routine duties and in emergency situations.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner as per Allied Universal guidelines.
Remain alert to potential hazards unique to chemical and petrochemical environments and respond according to site-specific procedures.
