About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Mount Clemens, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and professional demeanor will contribute to a secure environment while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, and/or emergencies as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for the site.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while on patrol.
Document all activities, incidents, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
