About The Position

Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the patrons, employees, and all properties owned by Mountaineer Park, Inc. (i.e., Barn area, Hotel, Track side, Casino and outside)

Requirements

• Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
• Must be able to read and write to ensure proper and accurate report completion.
• Must be able to add simple equations.
• You will need to be available to work all shifts.
• You must be at least 21 years old to work on the gaming floor, inside the casino.
• You must be able to obtain and maintain a Level 2 Table Game License through the WV Lottery.
• You must be at least 18 years old for seasonal positions during our Racing Season.
• You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Security experience is helpful but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and checking ID’s as guests enter the Casino.
• Must exhibit a friendly and outgoing disposition at all times.
• Provide a safe environment for our guests and employees at all times.
• Protect the assets and property of Mountaineer.
• Must be comfortable being around and working around animals.
• The ability to work in a fast –paced environment and stressful situations.
• All other duties as assigned.
