As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to promote a sense of security, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, using appropriate protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior within the healthcare environment.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal procedures.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and patients while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Assist emergency personnel and follow established procedures during medical and/or other emergencies at the location.
