Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Cambridge MA Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM Starting Pay is $23,00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / Free Parking or 5 Minutes from T-Station As a Security Officer - in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, offering a welcoming presence while assisting with access control and visitor management. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors, staff, and patients at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor and manage access control at the entrance, verifying identification and credentials as required for entry into the healthcare location.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and escalating issues as necessary.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior within the facility.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including communicating with appropriate personnel and assisting with evacuation or lockdown procedures if needed.
Assist visitors and staff with inquiries and directions, providing information about the facility while upholding security-related guidelines.
Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
