Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the healthcare facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, patients, and staff with security-related inquiries and directions.
Follow site-specific procedures and policies related to access control, including the use of electronic systems and visitor logs.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal management, facility staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed reports according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
