About The Position
As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Weekdays in East Point, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional at a bustling retail distribution location, you will focus on access control responsibilities, monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
- Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related risks.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while upholding Allied Universal standards.
- Follow all location-specific protocols to support a secure environment in a retail distribution setting.
