About The Position

As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an aerospace and defense location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience are required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location, documenting findings as directed.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support a secure environment within an aerospace and defense setting.
  • Assist in access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Remain alert to surroundings and communicate promptly with supervisors in the event of emergencies or incidents.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines, maintaining professionalism at all times.
