About The Position

As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an aerospace and defense location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience are required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location, documenting findings as directed.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support a secure environment within an aerospace and defense setting.
Assist in access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any discrepancies.
Remain alert to surroundings and communicate promptly with supervisors in the event of emergencies or incidents.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines, maintaining professionalism at all times.
