Job Description As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Associate in Normal, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout an automotive location. Remaining visible and approachable, you will support a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the location to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and/or client protocols.
Collaborate with team members and client personnel to support a secure environment within the automotive location.
