As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a government healthcare location supporting vaccine services, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism, respond to questions and concerns, and communicate clearly with site leadership and emergency responders. Bring teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach to every shift.

Requirements

  • This is a hospital site with vaccines.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and reporting concerns through established channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas, monitoring for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor processing, and coordinating with onsite staff when assistance is needed.
  • Complete required reports such as daily activity logs and incident reports, operate communication equipment, and support security-related screening and/or entry procedures as assigned.
