About The Position

Securitas is looking to hire Security Officer(s) Location: PORT NEWARK Pay Rate: $22.00 Shift: 3:00p to 11:00pm (Must be available weekends.) The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

Valid SORA license or willing to obtain
TWIC CARD
Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR
High School Diploma/GED
Must be 18 years or older
Strong customer service and communication skills
Must be reliable, self-motivated , and flexible
Weekend availability required
7 years verifiable work history

Responsibilities

Observe and report activities and incidents at client sites.
Provide security and safety for client property and personnel.
Actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
Provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
