About The Position

As a Security Officer TWIC Roving Patrol Driver in Orange, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Allied Universal unarmed patrol officer at a government location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license meeting AU driver policy requirements. You will build trust through clear communication, customer service, teamwork, and integrity while supporting a caring, agile, and innovative culture.

Requirements

  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, check identification and/or credentials when required, and assist with visitor sign-in and/or directing individuals to the appropriate area.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete routine reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
