About The Position

As a Security Officer Welcome Desk in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and front desk responsibilities in a technology-focused office location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, greet arriving guests, verify identification and/or visitor information, and help maintain organized entry processes in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Support security-related operations by documenting visitor activity, answering phones, directing foot traffic, and reporting concerns or policy violations through appropriate channels.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, alarm notifications, and/or evacuation support when appropriate, while helping to deter unauthorized access at the front desk post.
