You will welcome employees and visitors, support access control and badging, answer phones, and document activity on a computer and/or tablet. Your customer service and clear communication help build a strong security-related presence. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures at the front desk.
Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing guests to the proper destinations.
Monitor cameras, alarms, radios, and/or other security-related systems from the front desk, and report irregular activity according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting details, and coordinating with onsite personnel and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
Complete routine front desk administrative duties such as answering phones, screening deliveries, maintaining key and badge accountability, and preparing clear written reports.
