Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming staff and visitors while supporting security-related operations. You will help manage access control and badge check-in, monitor alarms and cameras, and communicate concerns to the appropriate teams. Requirements

  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21 or older.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific access procedures, verifying identification, and directing individuals to appropriate destinations.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, observe for unusual activity, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Control entry using visitor management tools, issue visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and assist with vendor and delivery check-in according to site policy.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or internal response resources as directed.
  • Complete required reports and documentation such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and lost and found records, and communicate key information during post handoff.
